Nurul is a progressive researcher currently working as a research assistant at Centre for Responsible Borneo, Kuching, Sarawak. Her research interest is particularly in sustainable consumption where she is looking into such trends and practices among Muslim Millennials in Brunei. She observes the value of the research having gained substantial knowledge in the field of environmental studies. Nurul graduated with a BA in environmental studies from Universiti Brunei Darussalam in 2015 and continued her studies at Universiti Putra Malaysia where she earned a master’s degree in environmental management in 2018. Currently, her research interests are focused on islamic perspectives of consumption and the sustainability of contemporary Muslim consumption.
