Prof Dr. Jennifer Chan Kim Lian is a distinguished fellow at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Accountancy, Universiti Malaysia Sabah. She received her PhD in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom. She is also the director of Borneo Tourism Research Centre, Universiti Malaysia Sabah and briefly introduced about the centre during her lecture session including the significance of tourism in Sabah. Her lecture was on 'Conduct scientific research and prepare research proposals'. Her sharing was based on her own personal experience of supervising and observing the issues and challenges faced by Masters and PhD Students.
